Inhibition of Four Inert Powders on the Minimum Ignition Energy of Sucrose Dust

In order to evaluate the effect of inert powder on ignition sensitivity sucrose dust, this study investigated effects NaHCO3, NaCl, NH4H2PO4 and Al(OH)3 minimum energy (MIE) dust. The results showed that all four different powders inhibited MIE them a trend smaller particle size powders, better inhibition effect. was ranked as NaHCO3 > NaCl Al(OH)3. had both physical chemical effects, which were compared Al(OH)3, only effects. Analysis flame images slowed down combustion dust reduced height. No appeared in region higher concentration.
